While my parents are busy cleaning the house for Thanksgiving, I am busy checking out free online games. = )
This game is AMAZINGLY addicting. I played it for an hour, and I had on every tile either a turret or a road block. No joke. But surprisingly, I didn't last very long on the battlefield.
If you need something to do for a couple of hours, this is what you should do. My ending score was 77,040. Not even CLOSE to the top scores, but I had fun.
All in all, it's an amazing free online game to play.

MLB Power Pros
MLB Power Pros is an awesome game! There is a newer version now, MLB Power Pros 2008, but we have the original version.
Before I wrote this review, my dad and I were playing MLB Power Pros on the Wii. It's an awesome game with hilarious graphics, and I think it's funny how the guys don't have arms. Their bats just hover in mid air.
If you want, you could also customize your own team (which of course I did). There is also a career mode, which lets you guide your guy through his life and help him make the big leagues.
My dad's favorite team is the Red Sox. But I made my own team, which whoops his butt big time. Like before I wrote this review, we ended a game at 26-16. My personal favorite real player is Dice K
Matsuzaka.
This game also helped me learn the rules of baseball when I was a little kid.
There is also now a DS version, but I haven't tried that one.
This game is just as easy to learn as funny. My dad and I just laugh our heads off every time we play it. = )

Blitzkrieg II
Blitzkrieg II is one of those war games with tanks, infantry, and planes that drop hundreds of thousands of bombs on top of poor defenseless towns and homes.
When I first played it my first reaction was "THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!" And it still is, it's even my second favorite game to play.
It's pretty much like Age of Empires, only very, very modern, and hard to learn how to play, but it's worth it, trust me. The only disappointing part of it is that there isn't any just basic scrimmages (free play).
All you do is go through three long campaigns, reliving past wars which of course are a blast to do and I'm pretty much a master at it now. Well, sort of. My main officer dude keeps dying, which causes me to lose the game.
All in all, it's an awesome game.

Pirates of the Caribbean Online
I've been playing Pirates of the Caribbean (online game version) for five years now, and I have to say, IT'S A PRETTY AWESOME GAME!!!!!
On my Mac, the game works well. However, some of my friends with Windows computers say that they have lots of problems with this game.
First, you have to create your own pirate to get started, then you make your way through the tutorial. The first weapon you get is a rusty cutlass and of course you start at a notoriety of lv1 (aka level 1). You get to do quests and battles to lv up your character and your weapons.
My personal favorite part is that it's an online game, meaning that you get to play with REAL people around the world. My character's name is Lee Knite, lv32 (I know i misspelled knight but hey, I was six years old when I created him ).
I'm the gm (meaning guild master) of a guild called Lord Lee's Rebels, and I own Isla de Avarica. If you happen to see me, just whisper to my guy and I'll be happy to talk. The max lv for notoriety is 50, and the max for weapons is 30. Once you've completed all the quests, the final quest is to recover the black pearl (which not even I've completed yet) and return it to Jack Sparrow. Also, currently in the game Jolly Roger (the main villain) is invading Port Royal here and there. So join soon before the invasions end, matey!
UPDATE: I have canceled my subscription to Pirates Online. It is a fun game, but Disney keeps banning my account for no reason. I chat to a friend joking that my pirate is going to blow up his pirate, and Disney bans me. I ask a friend how he got rapid fire on his cannon, and Disney bans me. Plus I am paying almost all of my allowance to this game. I am going back to the Wii. Disney is not nice.
EDITORIAL COMMENT FROM CARSON'S DAD: I do not recommend this game, and I have removed the links to easily purchase this game. At a relatively high price of $10/month for Pirates Online, it is a much better value to try and steer your child towards a console game.

Age of Mythology
Age of Mythology is a fun game, but Age of Empires III is way better. It's a fantasy game and you get to do campaigns in such places like Atlantis, Troy, and Mid Guard.
I enjoy this game because it's kind of like Age of Empires III, but with a bit of fantasy. There are three types of civilizations, there's Norse, Greek, and Egyptian. Each with certain gods to worship throughout the game.
There is also a Nintendo DS version that's entirely different. But I don't really understand what you do at the end of the game, because there isn't anything you CAN do at the end. All in all, the PC version is much better than the Nintendo DS version.

Age of Empires I, II, and III
Age Of Empires I was my dad's favorite game when he was young, so I tried it out myself and it was EXTREMELY slow, and I didn't quite get the aim of the game or even how to move a guy, and thank god that they made new versions of the game.
Age of Empires II is a much better game than Age of Empires I, but it doesn't have the best graphics. It is a blast to play.
Age of Empires III DOMINATES!!!!! It has awesome graphics, an amazing campaign mode, it is super easy to understand, and it has outstanding battle scenes and sounds.
Check out these bundles. The first one includes Age of Empires I & II and expansion packs, and the second one includes Age of Empires III with both expansion packs (Asian Dynasties is the best). If you can only get one, then get Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties.
Leave a comment and tell me which civilization is your favorite!
